  Owners are great! Very helpful with lots of information about places near by. The rooms are clean and air conditioned. There's a pool, its quiet. A large kitchen and a laundry. We enjoyed our stay here!

  This is one of Darwin's oldest motels and was allegedly the first nightclub in Darwin. Known by many locals as the 'old Gengis Khan Restaurant' of It is a small family-owned and operated motel and is now being renovated but will remain a 3-star motel. The motel will generally offer the cheapest rates in Darwin, significantly less than all others. It features a/c rooms with en suites; bar fridges; coffee making in rooms; TV and free broadband access. There is a big general kitchen and huge salt-water swimming pool. You can walk to the famous sailing clubs -- Darwin Sailing Club -- Trailer Boat Club -- Darwin Ski Club - Darwin Lawn Bowls Club; as well as the Darwin Museum, the Mindil Beach Markets, the Darwin Casino, East Point Reserve and swimming lakes. It is family friendly and will allow pets subject to individual approval.

  The staff. Beck her daughter family was amazing managers and the long term resident's like Cheryl and Dave make the hotel a great friendly stay i miss the place so beautiful its perfect up there in Fannie Bay Darwin the wharf and harbour are amazing asfor the sunsets and crocs::)))

  Revised review this was first post. 1/Dirty floors, termite ridden window eves and clientele that are a bit to be desired. Excluding myself haha. Look it's not altogether horrible just not that great. Look at my pictures. And make your own Mind up. I've stayied at backpackers for a lot less than half the price and be twice as clean. The shower and the bed are clean. Now 2/ fresh paint and holes repaired. Room had been refreshed and the lady gave me a members card for the sports trailer club which have me a few dollars of my meal. A bit happier now. And would recommend a stay if budget required.

  Great pet friendly accommodation they gave me a room without hesitation and let my beautiful little dog stay inside with me in the air conditioning. Every other place turned me away because I had a pet. I had to travel from Brisbane to Darwin for work. The entire country needs more pet friendly accommodation. This place is very old style and needs a renovation.
